Case Ilmiö: bringing the people-first approach into the brand identity

I got to create a visual identity for Ilmiö, a high quality boutique recruitment agency. Since the first chat we had with , I felt connected with their company values, how they want to make the business of hiring better — they’re in the human business. They believe that recruitment should go beyond filling roles; it’s also a chance to build and reflect a company’s employer brand. With values grounded in openness and clarity, Ilmiö wants to skip the typical jargon like “hunting for a tech unicorn” and to focus instead on clear, honest communication with both clients and candidates.

To bring this people-first approach to life, we designed a brand identity that feels warm and personal. Using hand-painted graphics and a friendly brand mascot, we aimed to capture the heart of what they do: connecting real people. This fresh visual style highlights their belief that recruitment should feel welcoming, authentic, and, most importantly, human.
